The changes we all want will take all of us to accomplish. A great place to start is at the local level. We can make a difference with your help.

If you feel as we do and would be willing to serve, volunteers are needed for a variety of important tasks that will need to be completed between now and November 2008. Some of these tasks are:

• Circulating candidate petitions for signatures
• Helping with fundraising
• Speaking with town residents concerning our goals and our candidates
• Distributing literature
• Aiding with mailings
• Helping with overall sign management and/or distribution, placement and timely removal
• Making your yard available for the placement of signs
• Telephoning town residents to "Get Out the Vote"

While almost all of the work of the Town of Canandaigua Democratic Committee is done by volunteers, the Committee's work does require the expenditure of some funds. We ask you to consider whether the Committee's work to field candidates for elected positions in the Town of Canandaigua and to raise public awareness about issues that affect Town residents' lives deserves your financial support.
